MA Supporters are invited to nominate local shops for our Shop Front Award 2018.
We have been making our Shop Front Awards annually since 2006.
The primary objective of the awards is to enhance the trading environment by improving the appearance of local shops.
The awards also help to promote the restoration and conservation of the area’s historic character, with many of the shops in Marchmont Street, Leigh Street, Judd Street and Tavistock Place occupying Grade II listed Georgian buildings and purpose-built Edwardian premises.
Your nominations will form a short-list of shops which will be assessed by an independent panel of judges, with the winning shop being presented with their award by the Mayor of Camden.
We are looking for either the ‘Best Kept Shop Front’ or the ‘Most Improved Shop Front’.
Special Commendations may also be made where appropriate.
Fork Deli Patisserie, at 85 Marchmont Street, can be seen receiving the award for the Best Shop Front 2016-17 from the Deputy Mayor of Camden, Councillor Richard Cotton
These awards have generated some media coverage for local businesses, as well as contributing to the general improvement of the area.
Please note that only shops within our area of benefit qualify for this award (see map).
